NationalGallery of Art Sculpture Garden Outdoor Rink – Located less than 10 minutes from your Wray apartment is the National Gallery of Art’s Sculpture Garden. While that doesn’t sound like a place to break a sweat, come winter, this place gets a bit of a new look. Open every year from November-March, the local outdoor rink is open to the public on Saturdays and open for lessons and classes most other days of the week. Open for private lessons, toddler’s classes, adult classes, hockey classes, and just about every other type of skating out there, the ice rink at the National Gallery of Art appeals to skaters of all ages an skill level. They also have skate rentals, lockers and everything else you’ll need to skate available on-site, as well as a cafe and other entertainment for when you need to warm up between laps.
